Spring 2017
Beginning as a member of the Marketing Communications Club (Marcomm Club), I was given the opportunity to share my interest for graphic design as the Graphic Design officer. This is where one of my most favorable roles as a leader began. As the Graphic Design officer, I was given tasks that correlated with events that the Marcomm Club would be hosting. My overall goal was to engage all club members in the idea generating and designing process from the beginning to end.
Continuing my leadership role, I became the Vice President of Marcomm Club. As a Vice President, I worked with five more officers to plan weekly meetings, events, and community involvement opportunities for the entire club as well as keeping open communication with our university staff club adviser, Amelia Reigstad.
Mission Statement: The mission of the Falcon Marketing Communications Club (MARC/MarComm) is to provide all students with real-world marketing experience by engaging with the community and on campus. Our club focuses on creating a deeper understanding of the following industries: Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Sales, Event Planning, and Marketing.
